Terms of Service

Last updated: July 2026

Short version: we call you for practice because you asked us to, be decent, and know what this is and isn't.

The service

Pickup Calls places AI-generated practice phone calls to your verified number, inside windows you set, at moments you don't choose — that's the product. Calls are simulated scenarios; the characters are not real businesses or people.

Consent & control

By signing up you give express consent to receive these AI-generated calls at your number. You can pause or cancel instantly at any time (reply to any email or use the pause link). If your phone number changes, update it — don't hand your practice calls to a stranger.

What this isn't

Pickup Calls is not speech therapy, medical care, or mental-health treatment, and is not a substitute for a speech-language pathologist or any licensed professional. If practice calls cause you significant distress, pause the service and consider talking to a professional.

Acceptable use

Only sign up numbers you own. Don't use the service to harass anyone, probe or misuse the AI, or resell calls.

Billing

Paid plans renew monthly until cancelled. Cancel anytime and calls stop at the end of the paid period. Beta accounts are free and can be ended by either side at any time.

Recordings

Practice calls are recorded and transcribed to generate your debriefs and progress history — that's a core feature. Your calls are with an AI, and your recordings are yours; see the Privacy Policy for handling and deletion.

Liability

The service is provided as-is. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the past 12 months.

Changes

If these terms change materially, we'll email you before the change takes effect.
