Pickup Calls ("we") is a practice-call service. This policy explains what we collect and why, in plain language.
What we collect
- Account info: your name, email, and phone number — so we can call you and send debriefs.
- Preferences: your call windows, difficulty level, avoided categories, and any feared words or sounds you choose to share. Feared words exist for one purpose only: shaping your practice calls. We never use them for anything else.
- Call records: transcripts and recordings of your practice calls, used to generate your debrief and progress history.
- Consent records: when and how you agreed to receive calls.
What we never do
- We never sell your data. To anyone. Ever.
- We never share your transcripts, recordings, or feared words with third parties except the processors below.
- We never call you without your recorded consent, outside your windows, or after you pause.
Who processes your data
We use trusted providers to run the service: a voice-call platform (places the calls), an AI provider (writes your debriefs from transcripts), an email provider (delivers debriefs), and hosting/database providers. Each receives only what it needs to do its job.
Your controls
- Pause or stop calls instantly — reply to any email or use the pause link in every debrief.
- Delete everything — email us and we erase your account, transcripts, and recordings.
- Export — ask and we'll send you your call history.
Retention
Call recordings and transcripts are kept while your account is active so your progress history works. Delete your account and they go with it.
Not medical care
Pickup Calls is a confidence-practice tool, not therapy, and we are not healthcare providers. Nothing here creates a clinician–patient relationship.
